Just a heads up for anyone who is considering buying this game on the Nintendo’s console, the performance is poor. The game is running in a very low resolution, which is understandable, but both in hanheld and docked modes the game chugs as hell. And it’s not aparent in the first couple of levels either, where there is not that much going on. But when you get deeper, the levels get larger and more complex (more caves, more enemies, more stuff on screen st the same time) and the console just can’t handle it, to a point it definetely affects gameplay. I am putting this game down for now, in hopes of it being patched in the future - or coming to Game pass/decent discount, as it doesn’t feel right to buy the game again on the xbox and reward the developer with a double dip.

So, any guesses when we’ll see the next game playthrough?

It looks great. It’s scheduled to release on proper gaming platforms - I’ll wait for that. I’ll be happy to

pay if they change the pricing model on consoles - in fact I would prefer that to the game being free with microtransactions, cosmetic or othewise.

I am stunned by the mentality that pushes people to have the “perfect save” in games, the variety is the spice! Make a decision in a game about those and take the consequences! What is the point otherwise? Might as well play the mode that eliminates all dialogue (I think that is in ME3).

I feel like this is an oportunity to say something with at least some value...so here it goes: play Alien Isolation, it’s excellent!

I also do own a 4k TV but prefer the framerate (with HDR), so I’m good with this. I hope they’ll hit the steady 60fps! I think the developer should consider what is best for their game, even though more options is always better, ultimately it’s their project and their decision. I would not demand games running in 30fps/4k to run in 60fps/1080p, even though I would prefer this to be an option in every game, I trust each developer tests their game in variety of settings and decides what is best, to offer in the final product.

That said I’m ready for the new consoles.
