This is highly dependent on factors outside the game industry's control. Its pretty well publicized that US telecom companies are pocketing money that they're supposed to be spending of infrastructure. As long as that keeps happening, latency is going to be an issue for a loooooong time.

@notnert427: The game industry works by copying ideas and iterating on them. Hell, Blizzard's entire development model is based on it. Sure, sometimes that means smaller developers don't find success but that's not what happened here. Bluehole has made its millions(or should I say hundreds of millions).

Also, I think you're being less than gracious about what Fortnite has to offer in comparison to PUBG(other than the crafting everyone knows about). Specifically, the graphics are colorful, bright, and more importantly original. Bluehole had to make PUBG with a bunch of store bought assets, and goddamn does it show. A Windwaker to Twilight Princess analogy would not be out of place and like it or not, graphical quality attracts players.

@xanadu: Max settings on most pc games means enabling a few graphics settings that will cost you 5fps for minimal visual gain. As of right now its a balancing act. A 1080 ti will get you 4k 60fps at better than console quality graphics. You just can't enable ALL the bells and whistles(aka keep it at medium/high instead of ultra).

When a near 30 pt triple double on 50% shooting is considered a passive game, you know that player is in the conversation for GOAT.

Lebron wants to start winning as many championships as he can, as soon as he can. The clock is ticking. Considering that, they're only a few teams that make sense(listed in order of likelihood imo):

1) Philadelphia 76ers - Their key players are young and inexperienced, but other than that both Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons are potential top-5 future talents. Putting Lebron on that team immediately puts them over the top and gives them the experience/leadership they need.

2) LA Lakers - The Lakers need to sign more than just Paul George to get Lebron. Maybe Kawhi, maybe someone else, but a PG/Lebron 2 man game is not enough to dethrone the Warriors.

3) Houston Rockets - The Rockets would be number one on this list if it weren't for their salary cap situation. Going to the Rockets is almost a guaranteed chip for Lebron. After all this is a team that most likely would have beat the Warriors were it not for the Chris Paul injury(and freakishly missing 27 threes in a row). But, to sign Lebron the Rockets would have to go scorched earth. They'd have to get rid of almost everyone except for their core 4 players(Harden, CP, Gordon, Capela). It's not something the Rockets necessarily need to do considering how they had the Warriors on the ropes.

4) Cleveland Cavaliers - I don't have any confidence in the Cavs front office. If they manage to surprise me and sign an additional all-star talent to keep Lebron I'll be surprised af. Furthermore, I think Dan Gilbert is an idiot who has alienated his best player with his incompetent power-tripping

5)Boston Celtics - Lol. This will never happen, but how salty would Kyrie be if Lebron joined the Celtics?

@captain_insano: I really dislike JR Smith as a basketball player. He's always been a giant fucking liability. He should be playing on a lottery team getting 15-20 minutes a night. The only reason JR Smith's on the Cavs is because he and Lebron are friends.

@shorap: Faulty reasoning buddy. Just because the Cavs had other opportunities to win the game doesn't invalidate the importance of the charge reversal. Both Hill's missed free throw and JR's stupidity would've been inconsequential if the Warriors weren't given those 2 free throws.

Whether or not the refs did the right thing reversing the call is up for debate. The importance of that reversal on the outcome of the game is not.

@shorap: man that is a baaad take. Do you know how many people were shitting on the refs for handing game 7 to the Warriors(their words not mine). I don't know any unaffiliated people who are saying that the Rockets benefited from the bad refereeing in the WCF.

Still, no matter who benefits, I think we can all agree that the refereeing has been pretty awful in the last 2 playoff games. The refs are almost solely responsible for escalating a non-situation at the end of game 1. smh.

Totalbiscuit was one of the first youtubers I followed, back in the day. So many youtubers that I follow now got their start because of him. Just a terrible loss for the content creator community.

About his controversial past, all I'll say is that his involvement in the events of 4 years ago were, imo, slightly overblown. If you go back and look at his tweets around election time, you'll find that his sympathies clearly do not lie where his detractors say they lie. I encourage everyone who has doubts about his character to go back and read his initial tweet on the issue.

It's not a slog, Season 2 is moving at the same pace as Season 1.

The thing is that slowness of the early set up episodes of Season 1 was offset by the newness and the mystery of the setting. People are impatient for answers since Westworld isn't new and shiny anymore.

All I can say is be patient, we're finally getting into the meat of the story now.
