I think this game looks amazing. Is it a good place to start if I’ve never played an Ace Combat game? Also, is it worth it if I’m mainly interested in singleplayer?
I’m one of the weirdos that loves the gameplay of Red Dead and I’m 100% with Brad and Alex on everything they said. It was nice to see Red Dead get the props that it deserves when I was convinced it was going to get dismissed going in.
I’ve always liked the look of Smash but I’ve never played one. Is this one worth getting if I don’t have friends to play the game with so I would be primarily playing singleplayer and with my wife? Is online with random people even remotely an option?
I’ve been waiting for this! I played so much of this game when it came out. I’ve only seen the Brosnan and Craig movies and I don’t have much interest in going back to the older ones, but my wife’s uncle played 009 in Octopussy so I’ll probably get to that one at some point.
I’m a huge fan of the series but I found Hitman 2016 far too overwhelming. However, I’m really excited to give it a proper go with this new one because it looks so good.
I don’t like the idea of tracking all of the opportunities to the point where there’s just a marker on the screen but I don’t necessarily want to walk around aimlessly. What do people recommend? Should I track them at first when I go into a map and gradually turn that stuff off or should I just jump in at the deep end?
I put 20 hours into origins and didn’t like it much at all. 11 hours into Odyssey and I’m loving it. I don’t think I liked the setting or the main character of Origins nearly as much as I do in Odyssey.
@doncabesa: I’m about two hours in and I feel the same so far. I’m playing on hard and it’s been a nice change of pace for how these games usually go since you have to actually pay attention to the environment to figure out where to climb and stuff.
This looks brilliant! I loved the first one so hopefully I’ll love this.
It seems like the last game I’d want to play co-op in though, I don’t want someone else cluttering up the screen during the precise platforming. It’s great for people that want it though.
