I have the HW850N (2018) same bar, no rear speakers. You have to plug the Xbox /ps4 into the sound bar hdmi ports, then the arc goes to the tv. That is the only way to get atoms. For std 5.1 you can plug hdmi into tv and optical cable from tv into sound bar. The atmos sounds fucken great, btw.

Since beginning. I worked at GameSpot for a couple years (97-00), so naturally was curious what Jeff and Co would do off on their own. Was not disappointed.

Bombcast has always reminded me of daily office conversions/arguments from GameSpot's early days on Clement St in SF.

I've just started playing Elite on the Vive with HOTAS setup which is also pretty cool (I dont recommend until you are competent on desktop version).

VR makes you wish all the UI stuff in the menus were cockpit style buttons/toggles you could just reach out and push, tho.

its really fun

Elite is more of a hardcore space sim, NMS has arcade controls and is trying to evoke 50s-60s sci fi.

Pretty impressed by this game so far. Teleportion via quickzoom is the most satisfying movement mechanic I've encountered in VR. The guns feel good, the reload feel great, holstering could be better. Would love to eventually have shell casings bouncing off surroundings, gunsmoke, etc. Maybe with next years GPUs.

Playing this game makes me feel much more confident about VR gamings future. Survios has come up with some good solves for a bunch of VR gaming issues that other devs were stumbling through. I'm sure we'll see these mechanics copied and built upon.

Haven't tried the coop yet, anyone else active?
