@htr10: yeah.....I know.... -_- but I assure you that's exactly what he told me and we have had several conversations about it.

@freakache: I know, that's pretty much what I told him, that the switch is going to primarily be a 1st party Nintendo and indie system. He just doesn't think so for whatever reason O_o

So, I'm currently playing The Mummy Demastered on my switch, and am pretty enjoying it right now! I work with someone who plays games and just recently bought a switch.

I immediately told him he should pick up this game along with Battle Chef Brigade, and he gave me this response in a rather annoyed dismissive tone.

"I don't like indie games, they all look cheap like they're made by a 5 year old" I said that I think there are a bunch of cool games that you'd like it if you dug around a bit and he looked at me like I was a total idiot.

I completely understand that not all games are for everyone, but to just dismiss thousands of games that alot of people worked really hard on, just because it's not a big flashy huge budget game seems crazy to me.

Of course this person bought a switch to play games like Madden and call of duty, even though those games aren't likely to ever come to the switch (I mentioned this well before he bought it) so maybe it's just him.

So have you folks encountered anyone with similar opinions and is it even worth it trying to introduce them to new games, or just leave them alone?

I thought it was a pretty good direct ^_^ I wasn't interested in everything they showed, but they had a few standouts to me.

So the bundle is on sale for xbox one right now and I was wondering if anyone knew if they fixed these games or not? Are they unplayable or are they just extremely janky? I used to love the first game and never got around to the 2nd, so any kind of advice on whether I should purchase them would be appreciated! ^_^

I don't remember having any problems with the controls at all in general. There are a few sections I can think of that are a little rough, but other than that I thought it was fine. I love owlboy! :D

@theoracleofgame: it also seems like the only way to access the options menu is by going to the start screen, as you can't even quit the game without having to turn it off

So I just recently started playing this, and the camera controls seem kind of messed up. They automatically seem inverted where pushing up makes the camera go down, and pushing right on the stick makes the camera pan left. I tried going to the options to change it, but it doesn't seem to work, and when I quit the game and come back to it, the camera options seem to be changed back to normal.

Is anyone else having issues with this? Or am I just gonna have to get used to these ridiculous camera controls ?
