So, I'm currently playing The Mummy Demastered on my switch, and am pretty enjoying it right now! I work with someone who plays games and just recently bought a switch.
I immediately told him he should pick up this game along with Battle Chef Brigade, and he gave me this response in a rather annoyed dismissive tone.
"I don't like indie games, they all look cheap like they're made by a 5 year old" I said that I think there are a bunch of cool games that you'd like it if you dug around a bit and he looked at me like I was a total idiot.
I completely understand that not all games are for everyone, but to just dismiss thousands of games that alot of people worked really hard on, just because it's not a big flashy huge budget game seems crazy to me.
Of course this person bought a switch to play games like Madden and call of duty, even though those games aren't likely to ever come to the switch (I mentioned this well before he bought it) so maybe it's just him.
So have you folks encountered anyone with similar opinions and is it even worth it trying to introduce them to new games, or just leave them alone?
