Working in support myself my heart and head aches for you man. Thanks for putting up with it all and being all around awesome. I also immediately started thinking how we can automate this damn infernal thing for you!

Having not owned a Nintendo console since wii - this actually looked kind of neat. I have all my current-gen stuff in the office with the gaming PC so having something like this in the living room might actually be feasible. It'll be interesting to see if it supports media like Netflix, Hulu (haven't read into it just yet) but I actually like it for me personally, just hope that list of pubs/devs stays as strong as it looks right now.

@hermithomeboy: I thought I've heard him use the term "boys" quite a bit more often, but so have I, and really I like to think I'm better off for it. After all, we're just a bunch of fancy podcast boys.

I do need to hear him start talking about ghosts and horses and haunted dolls more, and maybe his new favorite press releases from PR firms regarding mega food creations. I WANNA MUNCH.

@creamedcorn:Good to hear it's stable - I've cried about it being 30 but only because I wish it were 60 - which I know is coming. Games aren't wholly unplayable at 30 and really it's a damn shame that idiots think that framerate being below what they think it should be on launch day, even with a promised and running patch, means the game is now getting shit on for Steam Reviews.

I think I was initially super excited for this because of my fond memories of the campaign and playing it over and over - but looking at it now I can see that nostalgia was clouding my judgement and really made me want this more than I think I actually do. That being said I still like what I see, and I think while playing it for the constant "oh man remember this part?!" moments would be fun, and Infinite Warfare doesn't look so bad - I just hope it's going to do interesting things like Advanced Warfare did.

I'm sure I'm not alone in hoping the remaster Modern Warfare 2 - but I've been thinking that the Spec Ops mode in there would be fun to see redone too. Those challenges were pretty light in contrast to the zombies and all that, but a cool change of pace.

Looks incredible - was hoping to jump in to stream myself this year thinking "I wonder when EL is" but with work and school at the same time these might be better served as background entertainment for me. Thanks for putting this together Rio!

Great show! I have to say that I used to hate running more than anything. Grew up playing competitive baseball so 90 foot sprints were about all I could deal with. I started to force myself and as Danielle said it just sucks for a while, there's no way around it. But I started to save a podcast for my runs only - and it was a great way for me internally to say "I want to hear what these guys think, but can't listen unless I go for a run". That had me going from struggling to finish a mile because I was bored or started to do the "I'll go 3 miles...maybe 1 is fine...ok well 3/4 of a mile is still something" to going 4+ on a pretty regular basis. I actually am to the point now that an hour to an hour and a half podcast doesn't last my weekly run total and I can tell my breathing and just overall cardio health is way better. I do the same thing with the Beastcast over the weekend typically to get yardwork done around the house because I hate it, but the show gets me through.

Loved the show guys and keep it up!

Was pretty cool watching this while playing myself realizing the first race alex runs into I ran into second and vice versa - I was called Interloper for the first few hours of the game then ran across the robros in my third system.

There’s nothing about this game that hasn’t been done better elsewhere and while there's a limited degree of charm in this title it's probably not enough

Great review - nailed my feelings as well in this one line above. I found a few redeeming qualities myself but I respect your breaking down exactly why you gave it a 2. I think I might have swayed a bit more toward the "I see what they're going for" angle, which shame on me, but the ambition there grabbed something in me.

This actually got me a little more interested. I still think I'll wait for a sale but the candid playthrough here and the stuff that was shown was nice. Loved HR and I'm sure this likely expands on that - nice QL - sometimes the EX ones are a bit off-tone but this was really cool to see.
