@zombiepie: Your dedication to inanity is truly outstanding. I look forward to you putting several dozen hours into the jumprope and Chocobo minigames in FFIX.
No ZP, they made two games about FFVII characters you could completely miss. Every time I think about that I realize just how big a phenomenon this game was in the West.
Are the Capcom Pro Tour colors only on PS4? I play on PC and just seen a PC Balrog player with them. Just curious.
Also finally hit Gold!
I'm not sure about the colors on PC. I feel like they said you could buy certain parts of the bundle piecemeal, maybe they got them individually? Also, congrats on getting to Gold! Now the real SFV starts.
Also Jesus Christ that Wonder Woman does not look good. Maybe it's time to retract some of the compliments I made to NRS in the female design department.
I had just assumed you were sleep deprived after marathoning through 4 days of fighting games. Something about the way her face animates is extremely disconcerting to me.
@perfidioussinn: UNIEL (or whatever the newest version is called) will probably make it, but, unfortunately, I doubt Skullgirls will be able to pull the needed numbers. I would guess that whatever the newest 2v2 Gundam game is, either Nitroplus Blasters or Dengeki Bunko, and possibly Virtua Fighter make it to the big stage. Every arcade I went to over there had a shocking number of people on VF cabinets at least.
Honestly, I'd be excited if a single non-Infiltration foreigner made top 8 at any of the games.
@sensibleparty: As others have said, parrying air moves is a very easy way to stack up damage you may not have been able to get otherwise. Necalli's divekick, Ken's ex-tatsu, and Cammy's various divekicks, and Chun's IA lightning legs being nullified by parry is hugely beneficial for Ryu. It also prevents your AA from getting stuffed, but then again Ryu has a bunch of invincibility on shoryu, so maybe that part doesn't matter as much.
Otherwise you can use it to safely build v-gauge against fireballs thrown from like 3/4 screen, and anything that moves the opponent forward and is relatively safe. Something like Laura's elbow, or moonsault, or scissor kicks. That is way harder to do though.
