@theharribokid: Same case for me. I'm at the hour thirty mark and as much as I'm enjoying myself, Pat's audio is taking away some of this episode's magic.

Seeing HotS love really makes me happy. The supposed lower barrier of entry and familiar characters finally had me checking out a MOBA (though after Brad's DOTA stories, I came pretty close to downloading that one). I instantly fell in love with it and spent a ridiculous amount of time playing it in 2015.

This year I fell off, in between Hearthstone expansions, Overwatch (I do see the pattern) and playing less games in general. Coming back to it in the fall, I completely agree that it's a lot more fleshed out now. Here's hoping they're able to keep it up in 2017.

Rogue-like, survival, and crafting? Well, so much for that. Only thing missing is 'procedurally generated levels' and this game would be every type of cancer killing videogames for me. Amazing trailer, though.

As someone in the backer alpha - can confirm the procedurally generated map.

WHF was one of the first games I've backed on Kickstarter and for the past year or so it's been nice to read through their weekly game development updates and seeing everything slowly appear with each game update.

I have to admit though, the whole rogue-like/survival aspect is kind of a bummer. I have had a few runs start off with bad resource spawns in the starting district which makes trying to establish yourself in the City biomes a real pain. I wish they weren't opposed to having a respawn mode for people that just want to explore the environment and all their scenarios.
