I bought three copies of this game. And spent 400 hours now playing the Definitive Edition.

Worth every penny and every minute. Excellent classic game.

Been listening a lot to Neofolk act Rome lately. Really big fan of tracks like Hope Dies Painless, One Fire, Mourir A Madrid, We Who Fell in Love with the Sea, and Who Only Europe Know.

Excellent and overlooked music.

When I moved I left my physical games behind, no need to drag them around for the rest of my life.

I would do this. But then the only choice would be to not have some of my favourite games to play of all time, or piracy. I'm not going to attack people who do pirate games or say they're evil or anything.

But the idea of just stealing games and not owning them physically feels wrong to me. And most games don't have a digital version. You can't just go on the eShop and buy Mother 3. When all games can be played digitally without resorting to piracy, I'll be a digital only gamer.

I have something like around 2,000. I've never personally counted them.

Ironically, I have a strong preference towards digital games, especially on PC. A lot of games are not available on digitally, especially not on PC.

Would be nice if I could buy the entire Cotton series digitally.

One of my most played games the past couple of years is The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

And that game already pushes the Wii U and Switch to its limits. So I would say at least a decent amount.

On the other hand, over half of my time is spend retro-gaming. Usually for 16-Bit games. So I honestly have no idea. %25? No, scratch that, it was mostly 16-Bit games until I became addicted to VRChat, then like %90 of my freetime was spent on VRChat. And that game is far beyond the abilities for current end consoles. If someone were silly enough to attempt to port VRChat to PlayStation VR, you'd get 5 FPS at best and everyone would be sick. Even desktop mode is well beyond the capabilities of the PlayStation 4 Pro or XBOX One X. You absolutely need a reasonably high end i5 or i7 Coffee Lake CPU and GTX 1060 minimum in order to run VRChat, which is beyond what PlayStation and XBOX currently offer. Hoping next gen changes things, though, and that Sony at least releases something on the level of being able to run something like VRChat with a Oculus Rift tier headset when PlayStaton 5 comes out. And is probably what I'm most looking forward to about the PlayStation 5 as someone who doesn't even own a PlayStation 4, but is well aware of the hardware limitations of the system. Since I've put well over a thousand hours into VRChat for the past couple years, and my PC is a i7-8700K watercooled and overclocked, and a GTX 1080 Ti, I guess most of my gametime this generation has been on a PlayStation 5 equivalent of gaming level.

So, %95? I play a lot of games on all ends of the spectrum.

None, everyone has very different tastes in video games. And no game is for everyone.

And besides that, there aren't too many games from the current generation I think all that highly of.

Well, anyway, I think pretty highly of Splatoon 2, Breath of the Wild, and a lot of Nintendo's current gen games. But most relevant to this topic, I wish Final Fantasy XIV would overtake World of Warcraft, so I guess while it's last gen technically, I'd say Final Fantasy XIV as a game that I wish at least far more people would give a chance to. It's already massively successful, probably Square Enix's most successful game(yes, moreso than Final Fantasy VII), but its success still pales in comparison to World of Warcraft sadly. I'd like to see that change.

A lot of people were balking at Zombieland Saga and its premise. But, having watched the show several times now, I think it is now by far one of my favourite anime of 2018 personal.

Possibly my favourite. Admittedly I dropped most anime in 2018. I need a season 2.

Sometimes I ask myself that question. Especially since so many of the most beloved games and most beloved aspects of games I have no interest in. And yet feel a social pressure to enjoy games that are antithetical to anything I enjoy.

But for games I actually enjoy playing. I'm just trying to escape reality. Reality is horrible, and video games offer me things I will never experience in real life, like close friendship, romance, and judgement free experiences of other cultures.

I guess the other point or "enjoyment" of playing games is showing people I have "good taste" by giving in to peer pressure and playing games I'm supposed to be playing.

If people are telling you it is "racist" to go to other countries, live in other countries and experience their culture, you should seriously question their motives and maybe don't go to those people / internet forums for advice. In fact, any place where that is the prevailing opinion is best avoided altogether. The internet is full of toxic communities masquerading as self-help support groups for vulnerable young men. I am not sure if you are frequenting any such group but if you are, you should be extremely critical in your approach to those sites.

That may be a fair point. I joined a lot of Japanese related forums and websites when I has aspirations of going there, as a hope of understanding the language and culture.

I noticed a lot of places were filled with very very angry and bitter expats. That was true of even JapanToday, one of the better sites I went to. If one wants to learn more about Japanese culture and wants to go over there, the internet may not be the best resource for that. Particularly as one of encouragement.
