My vote is for sure to do Citadel before the end. The end is... the end, you know. Mass Effect and Mass Alex should end with it. And the party is a fantastic way to prepare for the final stretch.
Also, this DLC rules so fucking much. I agree it’s crazy it’s not in the main game, but the reveal is SO GOOD. So hard to do this kind of lore dump satisfyingly, but they really pull it off here.
Hey, I just thought of something: if Legion calls Shepard "Shepard-Commander", why doesn't he call Tali "Tali-Creator"? That would be so much cooler.
Also: anyone wanna start taking bets on Priority: Rannoch will go? Alex didn't destroy the heretics, so that reputation check for the "good ending" is going to be mighty tricky...
Another thing: I know you're all excited about going to the Citadel, but you should maybe go "Talk to the Quarians" soon! There might be... a certain quarian someone... waiting there. That mission doesn't involve an act break or anything, so you wont miss out on stuff. You should check it out!
@vinny Visiting Anderson's apartment will start the Citadel DLC so you should wait to do that for when you are ready.
Actually, you should start the Citadel DLC as soon as you get Tali. If you finish the "initial mission" early, you start getting emails throughout the rest of the game from a bunch of people (your crew and others) to meet up at the Citadel and you get scenes with them hanging out and drinking and stuff. All of those are great! You should wait with the party until pretty late probably, but doing the initial mission sooner rather than later is a good idea.
On the weapons: next time you're on the citadel, you should really think about checking out the shooting range. It's in the Spectre section of the Embassies. It's a really easy way to test out a bunch of the weapons and see which one you like. A lot of them play quite differently (I remember personally liking the Cerberus Harrier).
Also: while you're in the Spectre room, that's where Spectre Requisitions is located. You looked through those weapons in the weapon buying menu at the end of the episode today. Those weapons are by far the best ones in the game, so you might wanna save up for them. There's a pistol there that I think Alex might quite enjoy! Since you're doing so well in combat anyway, it's not a lot of use buying upgrades for weapons and things, might as well save your money for the cool shit!
