Throughout the Zelda franchise, Ganon has suffered a large assortment of setbacks and defeats, often at the hands of an odd fellow in a green tunic and tights. Nevertheless, Ganon's defeats range a great deal in terms of the sheer calamity that overcomes him despite whatever he had in his advantage before hand. With such factors in mind, what do you believe is Ganon's worst defeat in a Zelda game?
Personally, Ganon's worst defeat seems to occur in Alttp, were he is defeated by Link despite ruling over the Dark World and wielding the entire Triforce. Definitely not Ganon's proudest moment.
I've seen arguments for both factions of thought and there still seems to be some ambiguity in the matter. Based on personal experience, the situation remains ambiguous, as a times large gaps between me and my cpu opponents do occur with leeway but, other races (especially those in the grand prix mode) feature the cpus constantly behind the player and ready to pass at any moment.
At the least, the rubber banding element isn't as pervasive as Super Mario Kart 64, although it still seems to exist at some level.
No More Heroes stands as my favourite game to appear on the Wii console thus far and my overall favourite game for 2008. The adventures of Travis Touchdown sure do pack a punch.
Majora's Mask is usually a great deal more difficult to become involved in due to the whole three day system and constant time limit forced upon the player. (Thus one must always plan ahead with a limit on general exploring as a time limit exists, regardless of whether one is able to lengthen the time limit. Although the toneĀ and storytelling may be considered superior to Oot, the time limit along with the relatively short length of the main quest provides a negative effect on gameplay for many individuals.
