Black vs. White Background mentioned on today's Bombcast

It is interesting that they are thinking of enabling a white background for users in addition to the current black background. Personally, I think the black background looks awesome and is extremely readable and legible but I know everyone is different and some people might prefer a white background. For users that like to employ multiple font colors and other artistic stuff, a white background might be preferable.

It will be nice to have a choice, although I'll probably stick to the black background, I reckon it's pretty easy to look at.

Black ftw, it's much better for text heavy sites like giant bomb. (Plus maddox uses it so it's got to be good)

I agree with the general sentiment.

Once you go black, you don't go back.

I'm pretty happy with the black background, it's easy on the eyes, although I have seen people ask for a white background, so that's awesome.

haveing the choice is awesome, while i like the black, i am a little curious to see some white.

I prefer White on Black I migrated something I used to make to it after trying it a couple times. It's just better in my opinion. Plus, with a white background, this site would bear too much of a resemblance to a certain other Wiki

I know on Gamespot, I liked switching the background every couple of weeks to keep things fresh.

This black background is easy on the eyes, but just for variety I'll probably use white every now and then

I definitely want a white background. Just not a fan of dark sites.

I get a weird glitch every once in a while where the site is white >_> From my experience there (and yes, the text is black), I'm very pro black.

I want white.

i have trouble reading a lot of the grey text on the black background. like the text under avatars, quotes, posted time, and the numbers in the upper right of a post. im all for a white version.

At a workplace, a black webpage is more suspicious than a white one.

i want White.... because I'm racist.
