I also have had this problem since the site redesign, across Firefox, Chrome, and IE, even with all add-ons disabled. Again, only with the Youtube player. What gives?
I could have sworn I saw a quick look or something of Party Hard once with maybe Brad and/or Patrick? I specifically remember them playing this stage. But there's no videos on the site... am I going crazy?
It's not that I don't care, it's more that I can't judge yet. Dan seems to really have come to despise SF (the city) and I think he'll be happier on the East Coast (NYC isn't Kansas City but but it has a much larger 'normal guy' contingent than San Francisco at this point.)
@pyrodactyl: To be fair, all of the hidden stuff has hints but you have to pay attention to your surroundings because they are often subtle. I took my time on my first playthrough because I wanted to find everything without help as well and I did, and I never just stumbled onto anything or brute forced it. About 2 hours in I started to learn/understand the language the game uses for its visual cues, and that (along with keeping in mind that they didn't seem to make any throwaway design choices) was a critical step.
The game is terrific. I've found it a wee bit rough around the edges but a lot of the design criticisms here sound very nitpicky to me.
The one major gripe I'd say is that the chain dash is way too important to the core experience of the game for the devs to run the risk of you not discovering it, and the people complaining about the combat probably were giving their first impressions before they've gotten to upgrade. I watched a bunch of videos when the preview build came out and was looking forward to all the cool moves... then when I started playing, I was disappointed. Only on my second trip back to town (after about 2 hours exploring, fighting my way through to the Eastern boss and then dying a bunch of times) did I decide to gamble on this odd-looking triangle dash thingy and find out it was a game-changer.
I'm happy to finally get my hands on this game, I'm having a lot of fun.
