Co-Ops a good show. My only complaint are those unnecessary skits they throw in there. It feels too contrived and out of place for the type of heady-gamer vibe they appear to be shooting for.

But otherwise, I enjoy hearing what those gents have to say. Especially as they cover many games I wouldn't have otherwise discovered.
Plus they get Tiff Chow on every so often. Can't go wrong there.

I think it's foolish for people to assume anything with GTA on it will sell no matter the actual product. And that's not to say it's not a great game. It's just not what people want in their GTAs ... obviously.

I believe it has nothing (much) to do with the system it's on. It seems to me all the news outlets I frequent simply enjoy watching Nintendo fail a little too much, and will spin any story in that direction to louden the "Nintendo is for soccer mom's" rally cry.

GTA fails and it's Nintendo's fault? Nintendo's problem? Hardly!

Let me say this differently: If they released a truer-to-form GTA on the DS I believe it would sell just fine. This is nothing more than an unsuccessful Rockstar experiment. I'll change my tune if they release GTA:CW to PSN and XBLA and it sells like gangbusters. I just don't see it happening as those systems have REAL GTA's to play already.

And since I'm ranting, why doesn't someone (an actual analyst hopefully) try to exhibit the overlap between the millions of GTA fanatics (who play on PC, PS3 or XB) already enjoying GTAIV and the millions of DS owners. I know a bunch of people who own GTAIV, and a bunch of OTHER people who own DS's, but I know only one who qualifies for both and he is not interested in a "lesser" GTA game.

Looks like Rock Band avatars stole Prince of Persia's art team and broke into Fallout 3's wasteland.

...

Awesome!

It's just another example of art mimicking life. We do a disservice to our favourite past-time to be questioning the "validity" of releasing a single game that may just be relevant. It being so soon after the actual events is immaterial as we have no clue what this game is actually like.

Save the critique of Konami's class for when you're playing this game (unless you've actually fought in that war). To judge it now is silly and only works toward pimping the game further (about which we know little to nothing) in any case.

It's just another FPS. Let's see how it plays out before putting it up on a pedestal or crucifix.

Just tank already. I'm about as big an MK fan as it gets. But let's put this broken beast to bed already.

Oh no. The Boon bros. might have to find a new ticket to ride ... into the ground.

Ever since I heard about Midway's debt, and Sumner hiding in his bunker made of gold, I've been hoping Ubisoft would pick up my favourite game series of all time. Now it seems it's closer than ever to happening. Fingers and toes are crossed.
Ubi is the only company I can see bringing back the fighting genre to the NA audience. And with Prince of P's new fighting mechanics, it seems like a flashy, non-tournament fighter is exactly the type of game they'd be interested in making. And the MK license would be the hypiest and therefor best way to make that splash. And hell, maybe we'll see a really good MK this millennium. Or better still, I'll get to use a Scorpion skin in AC2.

Bright yellow ninjas ... what'll they think of next?

To fly or to swing. THAT is the question.

Perpetuated by the "You get what you pay for" line, which should be "You get what you work for".
