@seikenfreak: You're only hearing what you want to hear though. She also said she'd be talking about movies and other stuff, suggesting she'd be moving to a site with a larger pop culture focus. Giant Bomb definitely doesn't have that. It also doesn't have space for more staff, as far as I'm aware. There's certainly not room for more people in the east coast tiny studio.

this Dan is fun Dan goofiness, I have no problem with the "oh man I can't believe he thought that" moments. I do have a problem with his narrow negativity and just plain bad opinions on the thing he knows the most about, games.
A couple of times in conferences people have looked at him with genuine.. well maybe hate is a strong word, but severe irritation. He has opinions about games that are staid, unmoving and bad. I know he's been trying to broaden his horizons, but it takes so long. Case in point was the battletoads reveal.

@newhaap: I really only had this one time in the Witcher, and looking back on it from having finished the game I can see why. I was underlevelled for one particular ghost and she'd two-shot me if I wasn't exact with my rolls. On reflection I'm not sure why I didn't move on to something else, it's not like that wight was a main story objective or anything.
