I still don't get how that was an upgrade from Giant Bomb. The site looks like one of those ad sites that you are not sure which link is gonna turn your computer into a bot.
I still follow him on twitter, and sometimes click on his links from there. But after a few visits to the actual site, I'm not coming back there.
Most families have emblems. Go to your closest mall and they have those things that print it to you. Hey, you might even find out your family had a castle in 10,0000 B.C.
I'd actually like for the tweet-box to be bigger, as in link to all their tweets for the last week or two properly time-stamped. My own twitter is filled with too much garbage so a little Giantbomb-only filter would be nice so I could keep up with my duders' exploits and adventures.
As for not liking Dan's interests I'd advise ignoring it or getting over it. Personally I love reading about that stuff, but I also wouldn't technically miss it if it weren't featured on the front page of Giantbomb. I could, again technically, read about it elsewhere. Like on Twitter!
If you pinpoint Jeff's "jaded" opinion about games you'll realize he's right. Don't blame him for not getting hyper excited for the reskining of old ass game mechanics.
Now, Patrick loves his indies. I love some, I hate some. But it seems you are blaming him for being the opposite of Jeff, so what's with that?
The paywall thing, there's no better way to advertise or make money than the way Giant Bomb has been doing it, ever. I haven't seen or heard anyone getting as creative as Jeff about sponsors.
