@thatpinguino: I did. On a "neutral" stance, it seems.
@poobumbutt: Definitely. It's when you say "Oh, so this is gonna be the game from now on"... I'll guess I'll just finish it just to be sure. Still really dig some design decisions and art. I can totally see how it can resonate strongly with some people.
@clagnaught: Man, totally! That goddamn science nerd was annoying. Everything was "... ugh... well" "... yeah, but..." "..." Your ratings pretty much sum up my experience. One of those games you enjoy more reading about than actually playing. I'm curious about the pacifist route and such, but I'm not really excited to put the hours into it.
Basically my enjoyment started to fall after the "romance" with Papyrus at his home.
I really appreciate the game as a hand crafted chuckle fest. But after a few hours I was appreciating it more and enjoying it less. I understand "it wasn't for me". I'm totally not saying it's a bad game.
@ntm:Thanks, man! I did download the Policenauts translation some time ago. But I never got to play it. I'm gonna hunt down that hard drive and give it a shot! Thanks for the remainder. I don't think I'll wait for the extended edition of Ori. I'll play it like it is and hope I don't miss one item before the 100% :D
@neocalypso: Thanks for the heads up. Only if it's an upgrade of the game I already bought on Steam I'd try it. Otherwise, I'll keep playing the game and just try not to miss anything important :)
@ntm: Thanks a lot for the big research! I'm still pretty early on the game, on the very first map. So I stopped and wanted to see where these choke points are. I'll keep these messages in mind when I get to these areas.
Yeah, It's pretty bad in this game that they don't let you keep playing if you want to :/
I love Snatcher! I'm excited to see if Kojima does something with that IP now that he's done with Metal Gear.
Cheers!
Thank you all for the replies! as @believer258 said, I'll also keep my eyes open on "big doors" and try to complete the map before stepping in.
