@curufinwe: Not to mention the argument that LL "finally gave Uncharted a good story and a good villain" which is not only highly debatable but also: didn't UC4 get "Best Story" last year in no small part thanks to Brad?
@bladeofcreation: The difference is everyone else during these podcasts including Ben (excluding Jason but he is usually very quiet during these) looked at games from many angles. In terms of their own personal feelings, in terms of flaws, in terms of what they mean to the industry as a whole, in terms of where it stands among its peers, and even in terms of finding ways to compare them with completely different games that they're directly competing with during these discussions. They know that that is what brings a discussion forward. They also know that in order to make a convincing case, they need to mention specific examples and a reasoning that people outside of their own standpoints can follow. Abby did not do any of that easily 90% of the time and instead repeated the same "I think it's fun and I think it's funny so it should be higher" that have already been going through these comment sections (for that very reason). Which would be fine if she handled it like Jason who just chimes in, gives his personal feelings on the matter and then steps back, I suspect because he knows he has no other points to make and can't advance the discussion any further. But she repeated it to a degree that became, frankly, grating and a chore to listen to.
Personally I don't even mind DD being on here. Someone earlier pointed out how they threw out the "solid" Uncharted 4 for 3 smaller games that better reflected some of the staffers personal favorites last year. But my understanding for why it should be on this list came entirely from Vinny fighting for it, not Abby. And honestly I could say something similar for anything stated about Cuphead.
