Started a new job recently, so have just been playing Borderlands 3 with no voices or dialogue. I couldn't tell you why or how, but I have purchased most of the DLC for a game I don't really like, actively hate the characters and storyline, and intensely dislike Randy Pitchford.
If it's not that it's Flip Solitaire on Apple Arcade.
I work in HR (feel free to hate me), and have worked in some crappy companies where I was disrespected by management while trying to protect my employees.
The details in the actual charge made my stomach drop and it is heartbreaking what is going on there. The actual response from Blizzard was the most tone-deaf, "we are the victims here" message that is all about protecting the share price, and not actually any kind of defence.
The sheer gall to try and bring up the employee who committed suicide as some kind of shield against charges made my blood boil, and the line about companies fleeing California could have come from the current Republican party.
If I wasn't previously done with Blizzard, I certainly am now. Was looking forward to Diablo 2, but this, the China stuff, and watching Bobby Kotick score backdated bonuses and stock options due to the pandemic have finished them for me.
Beastcast was my Saturday morning walk podcast, but have been getting more into actual play podcasts (Friends at the Table, Not Another DND Podcast) and catching up on Brad and Will's Techpod.
That said very much miss the Beastcast, and really haven't found an equivalent as of yet.
I bounced off of Eternal pretty hard due to the platforming - I have huge issues with platforming in first person games, its just something I hate doing, especially in a shooter.
After restarting something like 10 plus times (on the easiest difficulty) on one set of platforming I closed down and deleted it.
I only have so much gaming time available these days, and would much rather throw sometime into Jedi Fallen Order, or of all things Kingdoms of Amalur.
