@oursin_360: DOOM is really good but so far I think Wolfenstein TNO wins for best shooter reboot. It's kind of surprising how many things DOOM is being credited for 'bringing back' that TNO already included. Plus I think the gameplay and environments are much more varied.

Using obsolete equipment is a terrible idea for security because odds are pretty good that it's exploitable in some way. Especially since there's been a lot of work in making secure computer systems since the 90s.

This stream got me to go back and try and actually beat Dark Souls. Before, I'd never got past Blight Town but over the weekend I managed to get all the way to Sen's Fortress (although I'm currently exploring the catacombs). That game is still really good!

@drew You got the GBP/USD conversion wrong - GBP 1 Billion is equal to approximately USD 1.4 Billion.

One criticism I do have with the game is that I think the controls are kind of bad. I really feel that this should be a game which you can play with just a keyboard (which would make it really good as a laptop game).

I played a lot of Harvest Moon back in the day and I'm really looking forward to finding some time to play this.

I gave this a go but spent more time struggling with the UI and camera controls than actually playing the game.

@zladko: I feel like that point in The Talos Principle is an 'Oh Shit' moment equivalent to encountering a lot of the bigger reveals in The Witness.

@conmulligan: Also it's entirely possible to trick people into shooting you by running in front of them as they're shooting. This happened to my group a couple of times while I was playing last night.
