The M41 Rocket Launcher is very well known in the Halo franchise, either causing a spawn rush in multiplayer or enciting a happy feeling when found in the singleplayer of any Halo game. The M41 has gone through many changes from Halo: Combat Evolved to Halo 3, for example, in Halo 2 the "jackhammer" was able to lock on enemy vehicles but in Halo 3 the ability magically disappeared. This vehicle lock on feature looks set to return in Halo: Reach. The amount of damage and slight stylistic changes have occurred during the series with the word spnkr on the barrel from Halo 3 onward.
