Pretty sure that part was obvious from the fact that they had numerous spots on podcasts and such for their voice actors, and quite a bit of media like screenshots of levels that aren't just photoshopped to look like they came from the Source engine.

But yeah, I know what you mean... it was obvious they had something, but it wasn't as obvious that despite their work, they'd ever have a game to show for it. Can't wait to give it a go.
