Started watching the Minecraft,
watched 3 episodes on chrome, everything was fine.
and now i can't seem to be able to watch any of them.
Even the ones i already watched
it says (Giantbomb.com refused to connect)

any clues ?

You made a good thing!

When I had this issue I had to mess with the third party cookie settings and it seemed to start working again.

What'd you change in your cookies? I would've figured clearing the cookies and logging out/in woulda fixed this but alas, it still isn't working for me.

I used this all summer long. And went on a journey.

It always amazes me when someone can just do something like this, that can be so useful and inspiring but seems like technical magic that I have no clue about.

[EDIT: replaced my original post] Ended up downloading the Phasmophobia videos just so try to sync them up properly; not sure what best to use as a sync point, so I used Vinny's movement at the start. Vinny and Abby sync up clearly because of it, while sometimes Jan's movements don't quite sync perfectly. Haven't gotten further into the video but anyone else is free to try their hand at it. But here's mine for now: Phasmophobia

Shame this doesn't work anymore. Not really comfortable disabling samesite cookies browser-wide.

I know this might only be interesting to, like, less than 1% of the viewers, but could you maybe make a third mode: true side-by-side view, where all streams are aligned horisontally? I could maybe see it going pretty well with 3 streams on an ultra- or superwide monitor.

Seems like it doesn't work anymore? The control buttons don't seem to function, so it's impossible to re-sync if the sync goes wrong, or if you need to pause/etc...

@the_t: This worked well enough and was a tremendous effort by a single user during the height of the pandemic streams but have since had issues and really you can’t blame them for not supporting it. I don’t think it’s going to be updated anymore. I assumed at the time the engineering team would co-opt it and they sort of did an integration for the player at some point but it never did work as well as this user made “mod”.

Since Chrome removed the same site flag method, guess this is just broken now

Nobody has any other way for this to work? :( It was so great and such a bummer it doesn't work anymore.
