Overview
Astrid is a young lady of noble birth from Begnion in Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. Choosing to seek her own path, she enters the knighthood and becomes a skilled archer. She is first encountered while defending Apostle Sanaki's ship from an attack and can be recruited as a playable character.
A kind and giving woman, Astrid also has a naive, somewhat skewed view of the world. She comes to think of Makalov as a noble, upstanding individual despite his well-known and much-deserved reputation as a lazy, gambling fool. Astrid becomes romantically interested in him in a way that completely baffles her friends.
