A protagonist who lacks some or all of the qualities traditionally seen as heroic.
A rogue character who doesn't obey the law, bandits are known to steal from people for their own selfish gain.
A person who captures or kills fugitives for money.

A bribe is the act of offering money or gifts to a person to gain influence or alter a decision.
When the player's death is addressed and integrated in-game as a part of the player's continuing story. This often involves reincarnation of sorts, or the player continues by moving on to a different character.

Drowning in games occurs when a being (not suited to be in water) runs out of oxygen, time, power, or barely even touches the water surface. Further complicated by the local sea-life that can knock the air out of you, should you get close.
Some characters get drunk off of alcohol - often this is portrayed with blurred vision, impaired movement, or slurred speech.
Ahh, eating... We can't live without it, and, apparently, neither can some characters. From snakes to dots, games have odd ways of dishing out their dishes.

Health is a value that gauges how much damage players can take in a game before they die or pass out. Also known as life in some games. Health is usually represented by a bar or a percentage instead of an exact amount. Found in most non sport games
Equines that go 'neigh' and tend to eat hay. Some are the stars of motion pictures. The truest of companions to many adventurers.
