Arcana Heart 3: LOVE MAX SIX STARS!!!!!!

Overview

Arcana Heart 3: LOVE MAX SIX STARS!!!!!!, also known as Arcana Heart 3 LOVEMAX SIXSTARS!!!!!!, is a 2D contemporary-fantasy fighting game developed and released by Examu for arcades (using PC-based Taito Type X² hardware, via the NESiCAxLive digital distribution platform) exclusively in Japan on December 4, 2014.

The second and final major revision to the 2009 game Arcana Heart 3 (after Arcana Heart 3: LOVE MAX!!!!!), Love Max Six Stars features a new character (the "Hybride" Minori Amanohara) and her associated Arcana (Ichor, the Arcana of Blood), as well as some minor balance adjustments.

The game later received a worldwide release for the PC by Arc System Works on December 13, 2017. Released after a successful Kickstarter campaign, the game received further updates from the campaign stretch goals, first released for the campaign's backers on June 13, 2018 (as Arcana Heart 3 LOVEMAX SIXSTARS!!!!!! Crowdfunding Edition), then as a free update on April 30, 2021 (as Arcana Heart 3 LOVEMAX SIXSTARS!!!!!! XTEND). The update, developed by Team Arcana (Examu's successor), includes two additional DLC characters (which were made available for free for campaign backers) and a revamped 16:9 widescreen interface (which now dedicates the entire screen to the game, rather than special pillarboxing). The XTEND version was later brought to arcades by exA-Arcadia (for their PC-based exA-Arcadia hardware) on December 25, 2023.
