    Overview

Zapper: One Wicked Cricket (known in the European GBA version as Zapper) is a 3D overhead platformer developed by Blitz Games and published by Infogrames in North America for the PC on October 9, 2002, Xbox on November 3, 2002, PlayStation 2 on November 3, 2002, and GameCube on November 16, 2002. A handheld version was developed by Atomic Planet for the Game Boy Advance and released in North America on November 5, 2002. All versions were released in Europe on March 14, 2003.

The spiritual successor to their earlier 2002 game Frogger 2: Swampy's Revenge, Zapper lets players control the titular cricket as he sets out to rescue his little grub brother from the thieving magpie Maggie.

The Xbox version was later available digitally on the Xbox 360 on November 17, 2008 as part of the system's "Xbox Originals" series.
