Yakuza 5 is up for Pre-Order on PSN. As a big fan of the series, I'm wondering if the GB community is as well. The quicklooks for the series have never been very good because of how dated it can feel. But there are some great aspects and crazy stories witch brings me back every time.

Crap, I forgot this was coming out, and I've since put away my PS3 and don't even have any space for it after getting an XB1 alongside the PS4 =X Really wish they could have ported it to PS4 as well like they're doing with Yakuza 0, but then that it's simply coming over in any form at all is a miracle.

Has it been dated yet? I'll be grabbing it. I played 3 and 4 back when GAME went under. Time well spent.

@shindig: The store says it will be coming out on Dec 30th, that might be a temp date though.

I can't really afford this but great, I do want it. Have never played a Yakuza game but the reputation is so rock solid and visually they seem great.

How awesome would it be if it was just on Playstation Now? I'll plug in the PS3 but hey, a man can dream.

I've been waiting for this. I played through all of the main games again a couple of months ago just to refresh my memory. I'm ready for number five!

I consider myself a Yakuza appreciator. I've finished both 3 and 4. By the time this comes out I'll be ready to play another.

I love the series and will pick this up. Got my PS3 unpacked for MGS, so I'm all ready.

Wish they would release it retail though. I'd prefer to complete my collection.

They put Yakuza 5 avatars up in the PSN store last week, so I was expecting it to be coming out here soon (they did originally say Summer). Hopefully December 31st is just a tentative date! I'd assume so, since it is a Thursday.

I do so wish that there was a physical retail release for this. But 33 bucks for a digital version ain't bad. They haven't listed it on the page, but anyone know how much free space I'll be needing for my PS3 hard drive? Yakuza 4 was at least 20 gigs last time I checked.

I'm gonna assume the same maybe more. Which means if the download is let's say 24 gb you'll probably need 48 gb in free space.

Already preordered and hyped. At least the price is very fair, and there is a 15% for preordering.

next paycheck. i can't wait. wish it was on PS4 though, ill have to move my PS3 back into the gaming area.

Wow, this game is actually coming out in the US? I waited for it for so long that I got tired and got the JPN version of it and Ishin and finished both of them XD.
