The limitations were a bit of a bummer with Solid Snake and Ocelot, but I'm pretty happy with Big Boss. Tomorrow's plan: John Cena.

You should be able to add characters by adding them to Documents\My Games\XCOM2\XComGame\CharacterPool and then selecting import in game. And that is where they appear when you export.

Made FOXHOUND, but the limitations of the character creator kind of screwed Vulcan Raven and Psycho Mantis. Oh, well. Hopefully someone will mod in a raven face tattoo and a gas mask at some point.

Why is Vinny not a psi op?

Very cool, I will check these out and upload some of my own later. So far I made myself and some doctor who characters lol.

Anyone else having weird stuff happen with created characters? Vulcan Raven showed up in my game as a Sharpshooter despite my setting him to Grenadier, and everyone seems to have a different "attitude" to the ones I set.

Also @personandstuff's created Vinny showed up as a scientist. "Dr. Vinny Caravella" gave me a chuckle. I'm pretty terrible at this game so Austin is dead. RIP

I thought it would be a good idea to have Ellen Ripley in your team when you're killing aliens

Sgt. Navarro (specialist) has quickly become my go-to guy, always getting the kill/item/intel at the best time. Sq. Walker (grenadier) has a tendency to get shot a lot and is thus never available for missions. Sq. Caravella (marksman) also likes getting shot and spending time on the base, chilling. Strangely (?) enough, Rk. Ryckert got shot and killed on his very first sortie with X-Com. RIP.

I've yet to take Rks Gertsmann and Shoemaker out for a spin.

Had posted this to Twitter, still pretty proud of it. Going to feel wicked bad when I get him murdered in a grizzly fashion. I will never get over the ridiculous inclusion of custom bios, it is just the best.

Dirty Dan is going to catch and compromise these aliens to a permanent end.

@atomicoldman: Dirty Dan would be great as a Dark VIP. Then New Dan can track him down and assassinate him.

In regards to my earlier post about the G.I. Joe team, I've filled out the bios of the 16 Joes I've made so far.

They are all based on the v1 figure cardboard card and due to the limitations of the text box, some info about weapon qualifications has been omitted, but now you know... and knowing is half the battle.

I've been spending way too much time customizing characters. I'm using a couple of cosmetic mods, like one that allows any combination of props as well as some additional camo patterns.

@oursin_360: The voice you put on Drew is just perfect. It sounds exactly like Drew doing a tough guy voice.

I came here for Giant Bomb specific soldiers and you guys really came through in the clutch. This is amazing. I got the crew, Contradiction, MGS, I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO START. Much love.

I was excited that the heavy armour is basically the exosuit from Edge of Tomorrow. You can make Emily Blunt's character, Rita Vrataski the "Full Metal Bitch" with a red ranger for the sword on her back. The nick was too long, but I think the Japanese forces also called her Margarita in All You Need Is Kill, so...

(Killer) Cage shouldn't be hard to pull off either. Dark paint and a dorky helmet.

Here's round one of some of my soldiers. A couple of my favorite Celtics, a couple of my favorite rappers, one fantastic wrasstler (with a nod to his Spider Man cameo), and one purely fictional character based off a character in something I am writing.

I am having a ton of fun with this part of the game.

Is that the mod where you can mix and match armor pieces? If so it's not causing any wierd glitches? I was thinking about using it but seems like it has some issues, especially with random generated stuff.

@oursin_360: Yeah, that's the mod. It has been completely fine, but some armor pieces don't match up well with others. Like with certain legs, there is a visible gap between that and the torso. Mostly it's completely fine though. Even with the mismatched pieces there are no problems running them, and it's only apparent in the Armory anyway. The mismatching is typically only when trying to match different pieces of EXO Suits or power armor to things like the light armor pieces and Resistance gear. It's a great mod.

@dberg: Ha! Good to see I wasn't the only one who made her. She died in my game though. I went with Rita 'AngelVerdun' Vrataski for her name.

FMB is the only nickname she ever needs!

Just got back into this game in lieu of Exquisite Corps and decided to make my take on Chloe and Max from Life is Strange. I didn't play much of this when it first came out because of all of the tech issues it had. It's been surprisingly smooth for me so far and I haven't had any problems. Even the framerate is smooth did they actually fix all the issues this game had at launch?
