    Wirt the Peg-Legged Boy was an often hated merchant in the town of Tristram in Diablo, who sold his goods at outrageous prices and even charged a fee just for looking at his inventory. After his demise during the destruction of the town as seen in Diablo II, the leg can be looted from his body -- along with a large amount of gold. As a weapon the leg is particularly useless, but it also serves a much more important role as one of the two components needed to access the Secret Cow Level.
