Max Payne 2: The fall of Max Payne
Vladimir Lem claims to have bought the restaurant as a legitimate business as he has gone straight. This is later proven untrue as Max saves Vladimir Lem from an Punchinello attack as part of an ongoing turf war with help from Lem's goon Mike the cowboy. Max chases off the attackers including Vinnie Gognitti and his men and soon the police arrive to investigate the scene. Max later returns toward the end of the game in search of revenge against Lem although only finds his men.
The restaurant probably went out of business after the ensuing shootout and the death of it's owner.
