What an utterly awful Guybrush model.

They seem to want to try REALLY hard for this trailer..

i thought this was coming to 360

I thought they're remaking it in 2D. Or is it another one?

Slaveg, homer: the 360 one is a remake of the secret of monkey island. Tales of Monkey Island is a whole new story done by fans. Err. I mean TellTale.

There's something about Monkey Island in 3D that just doesn't sit right with me.

The animations looked weird when they talked, but I can dig a game were you punch people in the face, just ask Mass Effect.

Nothing can fail when releasing a Monkey Island game... NOTHING!
Not even my hubris will make this game suck... I hope.

Only problems might be the character design of Guybrush... And the PC and Wii only release. Wtf?

Art style is kinda ugly but If it's got a lot of good humor I can over look it easily.

Well that was disappointing. The lip synchronising wasn't very good and the animation was pretty bad. The character designs don't look all that great and it wasn't really funny.

I know people can't stand any sort of change ever, but this is kind of pathetic.

The trailer sucked.
The game hopefully will not.
Although I don't like the artstyle.

looks like a college student has made a cgi monky island... :( like the 4th monkey island i shall skip this and wait for the remakes for MI1 and hopefully 2 to come :)

This trailer sucked. Totally sucked. But I'm sure just from experience with Telltale that the game will probably be great.

JULY 7TH is now booked for Monkey Island. yes yes and yes!

The humor will be great but I dislike the art style.

Who ever approved that art style, must hate Monkey Island.

Considering how well Telltale has been treating "Sam and Max" and "Wallace and Gromit", I'm not too worried about this game, it's pretty excited for some more Monkey Island. 

I am much more excited about this than the XBLA remake.

But the humor is intact

Didn't like the humour or artstyle, oh well.

Both "Tales of  Monkey Island" and "Secret of Monkey IslandI: Special Edition" are coming to PC.

that looks terrible. what's wrong with the threepwood character model?! looks lame compared to the actual original games.

Guess I'm going to have to get by with the remake.

i cant wait for this game, secret of monkey island is my favourite pc game of all time.
tbh as long as this game has the theme tune... SOLD
and im glad they kept dominic armato, he does the character justice

voice acting didn't seem too good either.

Glad it's back but if it's episode content on the pc I'll probably wait for the box set similar to Sam & Max or grab it on Steam after a few episodes are rolling.

Some thing seemed kind of "off" for me.  None of the lines really made me laugh.  I did like that it's the same voice from Curse (best Monkey Island yet) and Escape for Guybrush.  Still, just hearly the classic Monkey Island theme and knowing this is from the guys that brought Sam & Max back means I'm 100% guarenteed to buy this.

That brought a huge smile to my face.

Actually, I like the art style more than the Monkey Island remake coming out so I dunno. I'm definitely interested, but not sold yet.
