E3 2010: Kinect Star Wars Gameplay Trailer

This is the best time to be getting that quest for sure. Heaps of new posts because of E3 and most other timezones are asleep.

not sure how i feel about this game

After boringly defeating waves of stormtroopers with the worst aim possible, I really just want Vader to cut that "Jedi"s head off.

It's embarrassing that people actually worked on this and someone felt it was good enough to show.

again seriously, it just looks incredibly staged. it looks like every piece of Microsoft marketing material for this has just been KILLZONE TWO'd to the extreme.
 
i guess we'll see come november?

I hope at no point in the game that the Jedi doesn't walk in a straight line, because that would disappoint me.

Not even the Lincoln Force could make this sack of crap look good. It's like they mo-capped a bunch of awkward nerds at a convention to get the jedi animations.

How can there be Stoormtroopers and Battle Droids? 
and why does the Jedi look like Anakin Skywalker when he is fighting Darth Vader?

Seems like a prettied up version of one of those "Knock the ninjas out of the screen" motion control camera games.

This seemed really weird. Gave me a sort of FMV game vibe.

I'd have to say, of the Kinect games, this looks by far the worst.  Both visually and in terms of actual gameplay.   
 
Which is a shame, as they could have actually done something kinda neat with the tech and the license maybe.

I love Star Wars but, that looked pretty lame...

Surprised they showed this at the press conference. It's like a pre-alpha tech demo, everything looks clunky as hell...
They must have been really desperate to show something 'hardcore'...

I get the wierd star wars mash up vibe. Probably throw various enemy types at you depending upon your skill level. How well you're doing.  All non-canon obviously.
 The devs probably felt it wasn't good enough to show, however ms calls the shots and they needed everything on the E3 floor.
 All of this kinect stuff looks awful, absolutely shovelware garbage. Also displaying it on stage with the awkward actors and bad scripts makes the entire videogame industry look amateurish and pathetic.
No wonder the film community think videogames are a joke.

Lincoln Force? LoL. But they didn't show anything really.

I love the videos circling around that show the actor reacting to the characters movements on screen :) to hide the fact that it doesnt work

There are ruining Star Wars even more by abusing that time period, now every joe jedi is apparently fighting hundreds of stormtroopers and Darth Vader. Virtual saber duels are pointless without proper feedback!

Wow, looks to early to really tell. Id like to see someone actually playing this instead of the nonsense that the video claims you can do.

It's made by terminal reality. So I'm fairly sure the game won't be terrible.
