I knew how many arcade machines Bakalar had but did not fully understand. This room is an arcade.

This is the way (to unpack a pinball machine)

this is much more involved than I expected

I am shocked how bootsy things look on the underside. It looks like from Explorers, the 1985 kids movie, all the bolted on chipboards and loose wires.

This is a cool look at something that most of us would normally never get to see, but I don't get what this arrangement is between Stern and Jeff? Like why would they send him a brand new pinball machine to keep in his house and play with for a while? Is it just for the exposure when he does the pinball streams on GB, or does he review/showcase them in a more formal capacity somewhere?

I now have even more respect for the good barcades that have pinball set up and maintained. Holy crap.

If they don't bring up these aftermarkets pinballs on the Bombcast I'm gonna loose it!!!

Oh man Jeff has a lot of Pinball tables. That's gotta be like $20-30k worth of pin.

In a single video we got to watch Jeff crank it several times and wear a white glove to polish his balls.

also, doing studio setup stuff rn for animation garbage, and I really enjoyed this, jeff it was like you guys doing a project in the other room putting pinball together while i try to pull this thing together so it felt like weird solidarity. I like put-things-together streams, damned be i or not, good shit

The screws in the rail that runs down to the bottom right flipper area backed out after like a week at work. You will probably get way less play on it than us, but something to watch for.

Neat pinball game, I haven't seen a pinball machine up close in years, but were the balls always that big, or is it purely the angle or something?

Caught this live and loved it. Bakalar always says it's so easy to set up modern tables but I didn't believe it until now; it was almost a one-person job. Also super interesting to see the guts of the table.

It looks like such a fun machine, probably much more fun if you've seen the show [hint hint]. I'm looking forward to the full stream with some crisp digital out.

I will never understand this. At least we can have our hatred toward hot weather and the beach, Jeff.

A few years ago an old college professor of mine had a big house and a nuclear family. He then got deep into collecting pinball machines. He must have had fifty of the things.

His marriage fell apart, he hurt his back, and he developed a hatred for the family cat. The last time I saw him he was on sabbatical and going to spend some time in his family's old cabin in the remote Canadian wilderness.

I'm not saying all those things had anything to do with pinball (except the back thing that definitely did). I'm just saying when it comes to pinball you should know your limits and maybe take a good look at what lead you to create this collection in the first place.

Definitely one of those people who got nervous during the glass removal and when he opened the playfield up, revealing the electric guts! Not sure why, but kept expecting something to go wrong.

Also, OF COURSE Bakalar is a ball snob, lol!

I'm not sure how a person would do this alone.

It was nice to see Bakalar seem to have a healthy relationship with his wife. No bickering, no passive aggressiveness. That was very wholesome to watch

Great video, but especially the end with the two of them going crazy while playing a test game was absolutely a blast to watch.

I want to see more of that Jurassic Park pinball table.

Nice! Great stuff would love to see more arcade and pinball content. Jersey Jack interview, arcade operator, barn full of old stuff, restoration, etc.

I hope Jeff realizes how good he has it. 99% of wives would not allow one, let alone several of these in their home. Stacy is a real one.
