Career choices, choices, choices.

Some of you who know me from the Forums will know that I am an Inwards Supervisor, And of them only a few will know that last year I had aspirations and was in training to become a fire-fighter, And also that earlier this year I was one of the unfortunate to be made Redundant,

Now, at this stage of palpable economic recovery I may have a few choices of Careers, Now, I could keep my position, But at this stage, I am not in a comfortable position, I like my shift But it is more of a step down from where I was this time last year,

I also am not getting the time for fitness that I used to enjoy, and over here in New Zealand we are heading into Summer, (Albeit Slowly) So I want to have my old body back, as Although I am still in some sort of shape, I am not who I used to be.

I could continue to train to become a fire-fighter, But I would have to train a lot, and I don’t have the schedule, and submissions for acceptance don’t begin for at least 6 months, I have missed the boat so to speak.

Another route I could go down, Is to join the Police force, Don’t joke about this as they play a critical and Vital role in the community, I have wanted to become a cop since I was the age of 3 and saw my first police car, flashing lights on chasing someone,

I also could look for another job in the industry of Distribution, Which I have a number of skills and most of my credentials in the field of Import/Export. As I feel my skills aren’t put to enough pressure.

So Those are my choices, I know this is not the usual place to have discussion on such important career choices, But other members do it so I thought to myself, Fuck it.

Can you give me your thoughts, And please no “Fuck th’ Po-Lice” as you will look like a dick-head, and bring shame to your whole family.

By the way, I am 21 if that matters.
