Let's play some Warcraft on Saturday! You know, for kids!

I intended to join in the Community Endurance Run shenanigans a couple weeks ago but unfortunately wasn't feeling great. So, I'm going to try again this weekend! Join me for a WoW Raid-trospective tomorrow at 11 AM Pacific Time, going until whenever I feel like stopping.

The Community Endurance Run had a goal of $4,000 to raise for Pencils of Promise, and we're a few hundred bucks short, so we'll see if we can make up that gap! I'll have some merchandise and other stuff to give away, as well as some premium extensions, possibly a signed poster or two, and who knows what else!

The current goal is to try and run through all of the Classic World of Warcraft raids, since classic WoW has been in the news a bunch lately. Two of them (Onyxia and Naxxramas) have been upgraded out of classic into more recent expansions, but we might try hitting them up as well, and I might try popping into one of the later raids (Blackwing Descent or the Nightwing raid) that I'm capable of soloing (or maybe do a Draenor LFR) to see how things have changed in the 12 years since WoW originally launched. (Hint: it's changed a lot!) I'll most likely be running these solo, since at this point there's basically no way to die in any of them unless I fall into lava or something, but we might get a guildy in there or two if need be.

I'll be in the chatroom taking questions, so we'll be able to talk about the evolution of WoW, or whatever else anyone wants to bring up; we'll treat it like an especially Ramblin' Rorie. Join us in the chatroom, assuming I figure out all of my streaming setup stuff, and maybe it'll be entertaining, especially if you've never seen some of these older raids.
