Metro 2033 or STALKER CoP?

I'm not feeling too well, my russian shooter muscle is starting to ache and luckily I have both Metro 2033 and Stalker Call of Pripyat. I am right now half way through reading Metro 2033, and I'm not really sure if I want to play the game while reading the book, but I'm also really curious how much of the book they kept in the game.
