The way I see it Nintendo has given us the core Wii owners time to get other consoles and take the most of the generation and when the new Zelda and Mario games come out we'll be ready for them. And if you ask me it's just a case of quality over quantity in their games. The games the release/work on for only a year tend to suck worse than the next big Uwe Boll movie. There has never been a bad Mario or Zelda game made by Nintendo (in their main series and not including spin offs) so why would I sell my Wii only to have to buy a new one when I want to play those new titles?
