Soul Calibur 4, The Watchmen and Sweet T-Shirts

So I went to Best Buy today, with intentions of buying a USB drive that could fit on a keychain (It's not in the picture) and I ended up going to Barnes and Noble, Kohls, and picked up Soul Calibur 4.

Now if you know anything about me, you'll know I have a loathing hate for Fighting Games. However, I listened to 1Up Yours earlier today, where they discussed Soul Calibur 4 (By the way, has anyone noticed that they spell it with a u? Why is that?) and more specifically Phil on the show said: "I hate fighting games, but I love Soul Calibur 4." And me, with the expendable income and no games to play for at least a month, decided to pick up SC4 just to see how it was. So far I've played like an hour or two of it, and I haven't really bothered learning any combos really. I know the basic ones for one character, but I haven't gotten into the advanced stuff that requires several directional instructions and a few buttons taps. I'm sure i'll get there eventually since I paid $60 bucks for a fighting game. Am I the only one who thinks that is not a good value for what you're getting? Anyway.

At Kohls I picked up some T-Shirts as I usually do. Most of them say smarmy comments like "I don't want to be here" or something, but I picked up these two because they seemed pretty cool. I like T-Shirt you can wear and people go "Oh dude I totally know what that's a reference to." I live in Mass. so there's no White Castles for a good few states, so people around here will think I'm talking about Harold and Kumar, which is the intended effect. And Spiderpig should be pretty obvious.

And lastly I picked up The Watchmen at Barnes and Noble. I actually went in there to pick up a summer reading book (All Souls) and I saw The Watchmen sitting on some random bookshelf. It was the only copy, and I didn't know where the "graphic novels" section was, so I took advantage and impulsed bought it. The movie looks kind of terrible, but everyone says the novel is amazing. I've never boughten a graphic novel, or comic book, and I haven't read a comic book or graphic novel, ever. So this should be an interesting experience. I wonder if I'll be to finish it, or even enjoy it. I've never been able to take comic based storytelling mediums seriously, they seem to cartoony, and too corny, just from the pictures alone. Has anyone else out there read a comic or graphic novel? Or even The Watchmen?
