So since my Xbox 360 died, at the worst timing in the history of the world. I can't really talk about games I've been playing, since I haven't been playing any. So let's do some other reviews.

It's good!First off, I got the Muse album Black Holes and Revelations. In reality I'm not a big "new music" type of guy, but I've been trying to find some more modern bands to listen to. I usually enjoy the soundtrack of Evil Empire, Superunknown, or the occasional Vapor Transmission and Laterlus. However most of these bands either no longer exsist, or just make terrible music. So instead of blissfully enjoying my outdated music habbits, I've decided to adopt new ones. I like a pretty wide range of music, most of the stuff listed relies on minor notes and progressions, giving a really dark sound (Tool especially) but for every grunge and rock album I enjoy there's also a B.B. King and Allman Brother's album in my collection. So I'd like to think that much musical tastes are something to make note of, and hopefully I can show off some sweet bands you guys will begin to enjoy as much as I do.

I have to say what I hate the most about music reviews is just how it seems like people would always talk about a band's latest album and give it a star rating, but I consider most music out there to be crap, or at least, not album worthy. In an age of digital distribution you very rarely have to pick up an album, but I think Black Holes and Revelations makes an exception. Or rather, most of the album is pretty good. The majority of the album consists of combining hard rock guitar techniques with hip hop / techno digital effects and producing a unique sound. Supermassive Black Hole and Knights of Cydonia are obvious hits to check out, and I'm sure you've heard both songs before, Knights of Cydonia was in Guitar Hero 3. Other personal favorites of mine (in order of enjoyment) include: Exo-Politics, Assassin, and Soldier's Poem. (Links are lower quality obviously, YouTube compression :/)

This particular album changes its sound enough to distinguish each track from each other, but obviously the band has a sound they're going for, and stick pretty close to it whenever possible. Tracks like Invincible and City of Delusion sort of fade in the background when you listen to the entire thing, but they're not BAD songs, just sort of forgettable through one or two playthroughs. Overall though I fully reccomend this album, and I've enjoyed listening to it while writing this short review, or whenever I'm in transit to a different location. Check out a few songs on YouTube through the links I provided, and you can choose to buy indivdual tracks, the album, or nothing at all.

I was going to say more, but that seemed to cover an entire blog post, so enjoy that.
