I said I was going to do these, and then I forgot. But now I've made a bullet list of thoughts: The game is decently lenghted, or at least it seems that way, since I'm supposed to speed through this for review and it's taking forever. I said I was going to do these, and then I forgot. But now I've made a bullet list of thoughts:
- The game is decently lenghted, or at least it seems that way, since I'm supposed to speed through this for review and it's taking forever.
- Multiple playthroughs seems encouraged, which would be awesome, if there weren't a thousand other games I want to play after I'm done with this
- Upgrading equipment and guns is a lot of fun and slightly addicting
- This is the least original game ever, let me try to think of everything it's stolen from or heavily influenced by: Resident Evil 4, Alien, BioShock, The Thing, Aliens, Resident Evil: Nemesis, and Metroid
- Game isn't scary at all, cliches are set up early on and leans on those cliches for scares the entire time
- Strategic Dismemberment isn't really strategic, enemies are only made out of limbs, so it's harder to NOT dismember things than it is to dismember them... confusing.
- How come enemies with no heads can still see where I am?
- I'm at Chapter 9 and I think I'm going to end up killing one of my teammates by the time the game is over, just a feeling I got
- Main character never talks, what the hell?
- Very atmospheric, but at the same time easy things like picking up items is made more difficult due to how the interface is set up
- I'm having fun, but if you're looking for something new, it ain't here.
Review will be up sometime next week probably.
