Grand Theft Console

As your typical British fellow, I lead a rather uneventful, unexciting life. I eat, I sleep, I play video games. Sometimes I can fit a game of darts or a hastily-scrawled essay into my busy schedule. Last night, I stayed up with my girlfriend watching a DVD, then played a little of Chrono Trigger DS before turning in for the night. At 2am this morning, my girlfriend knocked on my door, saying that she couldn't sleep. Being the chivalrous gentleman I am, I went to her room and stayed with her while she fell asleep. Unfortunately, tiredness got the better of me, and I ended up falling asleep as well. I woke up at around 5:30am in need of a drink, so went back to my room to get a glass. I was not prepared for what I saw.

The first thing that struck me as odd was that my laptop wasn't on my desk. It was sitting on my bed, unplugged and disconnected from the internet. A litle uneasy, I returned it to its standard position. It was only while I was doing this that the full extent of the upset in my room became apparent. My chest of drawers had been disturbed, and the contents thrown onto the floor. My wardrobe was open too, and all the boxes inside it had been opened and moved. Reality sinking in, I finally began checking the room for missing objects.

I was burgled!
