As a result, I probably won't be blogging much for a while, or playing many games either, for that matter. I have four of them to do over the next three weeks. Three of them have a deadline for April 20th, the day my third term at University officially starts. As a result, I probably won't be blogging much for a while, or playing many games either, for that matter. So sorry to all regular readers of my blog, but I expect the next few weeks will be pretty dead as far as updates are concerned. I'll blog if and when I can, but don't expect anything substantial.
Banjophobia: an irrational fear of vehicular constructionIn recent gaming news, I've been playing through Mirror's Edge again, and also getting to grips with Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. Mirror's Edge is more frustrating than I remember it being when I first played through it earlier this year, but I'm still having some fun with it and I can't get enough of the visuals. Nuts & Bolts is an oddity for me. I like the premise, and I love the humour, but I can't seem to settle into it. I think I'm scared of the vehicle creation side of things, to be honest - not something that makes much sense to me, considering the hours I wasted with gummi ships in Kingdom Hearts II. Perhaps I just need to sit down with it for a couple of hours and experiment, but at the moment I'm too cautious to get stuck in and fiddle with all the different parts I've unlocked. I'll see if I can invest some time in Mumbo's workshop later, but with all the essays I have to do I'm not sure if I can afford to sacrifice that much time to games right now. I had to force myself to give up on all RPGs for the time being because I simply can't afford to lose myself to a game right now. That means my copy of Morrowind still remains virtually unplayed. But oh well. After these essays are out of the way, I'll have a few lesson-less weeks to revise before my exams. While I'll still be fairly busy during the day, at least it means I can devote some time to games in the evenings.Thanks for reading guys, and sorry about the short update. See you around.
