As a student, I find that my needs as a gamer are often overlooked. So here we are – Welcome to Library Load Time, a blog (and future podcast) about gaming in school. Most gaming outlets miss something key when discussing games that ultimately makes them less useful to me as a consumer: they don’t consider how games fit into the busy and frenetic life of a student. Library Load Time will focus on playing games in school, the challenges associated with it, what games I play, the social aspects of being a gamer and much more. I might focus on genres, specific games, board games, social experiences, eSports, anything I think is important.
My name is Aidan. I’m a 22-year-old Biomedical Science student from Ontario. While my experience in games writing is limited (I freelanced for ZAM for a year), I hope that students can find some value in what I hope to present here. I’ll be posting a article every Thursday, and a photobank every Monday in the early days of Library Load time.
See you soon!
