I don't think I have ever been more engaged with a game as I have with RDR2. Like what was said on the GB podcasts, I found myself roleplaying a character like I never have before in any game. RDR2 is not a perfect game by a long shot and I know it's not for everyone, but it clicked with me in a deep way.
They finally made me care about a God of War game. I have tried to get in the series many times, but it just never worked for me (I think I even own most of the games). The layer of depth that they add to Kratos (even though sometimes ham fisted) really helped. I am very excited to see what they do with this franchise next.
THEY MADE A BATTLETECH GAME AND HOLY SHIT I LOVE IT. I hope eventually they add more options to managing a merc company.
This is up there with one of the best super hero games out there. Insomniac was able to tell an awesome Spider-Man story. My biggest problems with the game are probably in the combat, it just never really clicked with me.
I will say this again. I am glad I got into this series finally. It's one of the most absurd, action packed, and at times touching, game series I have ever played.
It's more Hitman, and Hitman is a really good game. I was glad that IO Interactive got another shot at making some Hitman, and I hope it does well for them.
I remember when they showed this game on the Xbox E3 stage and I lost my damn mind. I am not good at fighting games but man does this game make you feel cool even if you are not good.
It's been awhile since I cared about a Smash Bros game, but this one delivers. My biggest gripe is I wish there were more awesome looking cutscenes that threw all of those characters together.
This game has a great aesthetic and a really interesting premise. I found myself in the Civ cycle of just "a couple more minutes" and then seeing that it was 6 hrs away from when I started playing it.
This is a David Cage ass David Cage game. The Android Moses arc kinda sucked, but I really liked the other two. I liked the Conor and Hank storylines the best. I just wish people were able to make game with this tech without David Cage thinking he is creating a story that no one has ever seen before, because then I really think that these games could be something special.
