Some games exist to be just pure sensory overload in many ways more than one.

MGS4 is so overwhelming. From it's long cutscenes that are 7 hours together to the grit of the violent battlefield. The art style is intimidating being long and covered in shading. Being an aging 43 year old doesn't help either. MGS4 is one game that will overwhelm even the hardest of men. Just put on your iPod and play Two han Ooshi Princess.
From it's Sweeping intro to love on the battlefield. FF8 is so overwhelming and yet so calming. There really is no other game like it.
This was recommended by someone on GameSpot. This is one of those games where lots of shit happen on screen and wonder how the Sega Genesis pulls it off.
FF7 is an overwhelming video game. The scope and scale
I have to look over so much shit.
Bloodborne was the PS4's best video game and it shows. Bloodborne is one of the hardest Souls likes ever created.
This game could go blade to blade with Bloodborne in terms of difficulty.
This cartoon duo will take on medusas, flying clocks and the like. Cup head and Mugman have no chance
Killzone 2 is commonly mentioned in my lists and for good reason. I'm trying to cope that I can't find a game as awesome as MGS4 still. Killzone 2 is so overwhelming. I may have thought it was a generic CoD clone at first. Boy was I wrong! This game kicked my butt. It doesn't help that Helghan has a terrifying atmosphere and the games audio is surround sound.
