So I played a lot of games this year but not a lot that came out this year. I might include one or two from previous years.

I have a problem and its called Warframe. I can't stop! It has all the things I love! Space, ninjas, unique player avatars, stats, customizable weapons, clans that actually do stuff for you, co-op, space, ninjas, cyborgs, robots... The only thing its missing is a story. Sure its full of jank and doesn't explain itself worth a damn but holy hell I love this game. No I have no idea when the beta started and no I don't know when the full version comes out if ever.
I know. This game should be my #1. Fantastic gameplay that for me was a stealth take out a few people and run and gun the rest. The AI constantly hunting down the player's every hiding place makes running to new cover constantly a must. Top this off with a heart wrenching story that has some incredibly important things to say about modern society and this should be my number 1. My crack habit won out though.
I love Saints Row. I love that I can jankily transfer my character from 3 to 4. Granted she went from Russian to French but who is keeping track? This game is wonderfully. My only gripe is there isn't enough of it and Volition sucks at DLC.
I helped Kickstart this so I might be biased. This game is excellently written and the gameplay is great. Its just very low budget. I think everyone who loves cyberpunk should play it.
This is a pretty good game. You should probably play it.
I know, I know, not this year but man I love this game! The visual style, the driving, the fighting! Can't wait for another!

My wife and I played through this. Really good game, really crappy ending. I feel like the game was building towards something at the end and wussed out.
This goes on here for Tiny Tiny's DLC alone but man I've spent a ton of time in this game.
