MMO's I've played

by fisk0

MMO games are incredibly interesting in concept, though rarely so in implementation. These are the MMO's I've tried.

World of Warcraft

World of Warcraft

Wasn't my kind of game. Didn't even play one whole day of my free 30 days.

Anarchy Online

Anarchy Online

Played a couple of hours of it when it went free to play circa 2005.

Star Trek Online

Star Trek Online

I've spent a decent amount of time with this since I got it in 2009.

EVE Online

EVE Online

After a 3 year hiatus since I tried the Trial version, I got back into EVE again around the EVE coverage on the site in 2013. Played somewhat actively for a few months, and then tapered off, but kept my subscription going until November 2014.

Meridian 59

Meridian 59

I didn't play it during it's peak in the late 90's. I spent a few hours with it in 2011-2012 after it had gone free to play. It went open source in 2014, and I've considered going back to see what that means for this game.

EverQuest

Champions Online

Tibia

Tibia

Haven't tried it in 10 years. I think I would enjoy Ultima Online more.

Runescape Classic

Runescape Classic

Didn't play more than a couple of hours of this.
