I don't play a lot of games, and usually they're old. For once, I played a lot of new games (several came out this year including a much anticipated robot hunting sim. These are the games I played, completed, and adored in 2017.
Of course in such an exceptional year, I failed to submit to the user's choice!

Such great hunting and stalking prey, diversity of weapons and possible approaches, actually fun challenge system that teaches you mechanics and shows how you're growing.
Great conversation system that allows you to keep playing as you talk. Good story. Beautiful presentation.
