The Great Game Stockpile

by mildmolasses

In an effort to clear out the massive pile of games I have accrued, I've forbidden myself purchasing anything new until this entire list has been beaten. Final impressions will be added to the games as I complete them

Note:This list does not include everything I bought during Steam sales, because I think we all have steam games we never intend on playing

50 Cent: Blood on the Sand

Way better than it has any right to be. Fun and incredibly stupid. Just what I want

Wheelman

2. Wheelman

See above. However it also has some really badly designed missions that go on for way too long

Vanquish

3. Vanquish

See above. Further cementing Platinum as the only developer that I have automatic interest in whatever they produce

John Woo Presents Stranglehold

4. John Woo Presents Stranglehold

Terrible.

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4

5. LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4

Easily the worst of the LEGO games. There is very little adventure style playing in this game, and is instead focused almost entirely on poorly designed puzzles that require a lot of trial and error. These things used to be fun

Enslaved: Odyssey to the West

6. Enslaved: Odyssey to the West

Completely surprised by how much I enjoyed this game. Great characters and story telling. I feel bad for buying this cheap as everything I had seen from it beforehand did not appeal to me very much.

Killzone 3

7. Killzone 3

I'm not sure what it is, but I really don't like the feel of the control in this series. Nonetheless, the campaign amped up nicely, and unfortunately it ended in a wimper, not a bang.

Saints Row 2

8. Saints Row 2

Parts of it were really fun, and parts were really frustrating. Perhaps it was aggravated by the fact that the original save I had was deleted so I had to redo about 75% of the story missions over again, and seeing that much repetition was not a whole lot of fun.

Kirby's Epic Yarn

So incredibly cute

Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Conspiracy

10. Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Conspiracy

Some interesting levels, but that melee combat it terrible. It seemed far more luck than skill based. Also, I don't know how these guys could ever claim with a straight face that this game was based on the books and not the movies.
